The SMS Girls Choir brought home the U.I.L. Sweepstakes Trophy for the 4th consecutive year. This means they received perfect scores from all judges in both concert and sightreading. The SMS Boys Choir also brought home a 1st Division in Sightreading from the U.I.L. contest recently. Way to go Mrs. Pogue.
Congratulations Band! On Friday, May 2nd , members of the 6th grade beginning band travelled to Carrollton to compete at the Sandy Lake FunFest Band Contest! The 6th grade band received an EXCELLENT 2nd Division rating from all 3 judges and were awarded a trophy for their accomplishment! WAY TO GO 6th GRADE BAND! See picture below! | Kaleb Hoover, Rachel Gray, Nate Hardin, Pete Ortega, Alicia Finn, Mason Andrews, and Amy Witt recently received trophies for earning the highest semester averages. | 6th Grade Band at Sandy Lake Festival. |
